First Communities is proud to offer a wide selection of online training courses through the Gracehill Vision platform. Each position has an individualized training plan in place to ensure each associate is receiving the most accurate and up to date industry training. Courses include Fair Housing, Sexual Harassment, and Drug Free Work place just to name a few.

FIRST COMMUNITIES UNIVERSITY

LIVE TRAINING COURSES

Our associates at FCM are offered a variety of live in person training course. Our experienced Trainers travel across all of our markets to deliver class to all of our markets multiple times a year. A few of our classes offered are First in Leasing, Fun with Finance, Operational Excellence, First in Leadership, and LIVE Yardi trainings.

MYSTERY SHOPPING

At First Communities we believe in inspecting what we expect. Every quarter our associates are mystery shopped to ensure that we are giving the highest customer service to our residents. Delivering excellent customer service is our highest goal mystery shops allow us to ensure we are delivering just that.

EMPLOYMENT ENGAGEMENT

FCM is a company that spans across the United States. It is important to us that we stay connected with all of our associates no matter where they are located. Our intranet employee platform ‘Jostle’ allows us to do that. Our associates have access all things First Communities, including an employee directory, through an app on their phone or on their desktop. Building relationships and staying connected is a key part to our company’s culture and success.
